As both a longtime Pacific Palisades resident and your trusted local realtor, I’m incredibly proud to share some exciting news that hits close to home — literally and figuratively. This past week, I had the honor of standing alongside Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass and Rick Caruso, founder of Steadfast LA, as we announced the upcoming rebuild of the beloved Pacific Palisades Recreation Center.
This project is more than just a construction plan — it’s a symbol of our community’s resilience and unity. After the devastating January fire that damaged parts of the rec center, it was clear that we needed to come together to restore this vital gathering place. Thanks to a powerful public-private partnership between the City of Los Angeles, Steadfast LA, and LA Strong Sports (co-founded by new Lakers head coach JJ Redick), that vision is now becoming a reality.
The redevelopment will include a brand-new gymnasium, upgraded sports fields, and modern courts for basketball, tennis, and pickleball — turning the Palisades Rec Center into a true hub for health, recreation, and connection. As President of the Pacific Palisades Community Council, I’ve seen firsthand how much this space means to our families, kids, and seniors alike.
This revitalization also represents a major milestone for real estate in Pacific Palisades. Quality community amenities like a modern recreation center are key factors that enhance home values in Pacific Palisades and attract new buyers who are looking for more than just a house — they want a lifestyle. Whether you're planning to sell your home or explore the market, investments like this reaffirm that the Westside remains one of the most desirable places to live in Los Angeles.
I’ll continue to keep you updated as plans develop — not just as your local real estate expert, but as someone who’s deeply invested in the future of this incredible neighborhood. If you have any questions about how this project might impact your property or the local market, I’d love to connect.
